Countersurveillance
is a set of measures deployed in order to detect or avoid surveillance. They can be physical or technical in nature and are commonly implemented in conjunction with one another. To be skilled in physical countersurveillance one should first have the appropriate experience and knowledge base conducting surveillance. Only then can a targeted surveillance be sufficiently dissected, enabling a comprehensive countersurveillance strategy to be implemented.
